Privacy Policy

Last updated January 2025. This explains what information Solace collects and how it’s used.

Overview

Solace (‘we’, ‘us’) provides therapy and mental wellness services. This policy covers the website, booking system, and client communications — not the content of therapy sessions, which is governed separately by our clinical confidentiality policy.

Information we collect

Contact details you provide (name, email, phone), appointment and billing information, and basic site-usage data (pages visited, browser type) collected via cookies. We do not collect clinical notes through this website.

How we use it

To schedule and confirm appointments, process payments, send appointment reminders, and respond to inquiries. We never sell client information or use it for third-party advertising.

Sharing your information

We share information only with your insurance provider (for claims you authorize), payment processors, and secure scheduling/EHR software — each bound by their own confidentiality agreements.

Your rights

You can request a copy of the information we hold, ask us to correct it, or request deletion where legally permitted. Email privacy@solacetherapy.com to make a request.

Data retention

Administrative records are retained for 7 years per state licensing requirements, then securely destroyed.
